Shipping plays a critical
role in the Pacific. BlackGOLD
identified the need to be
able to service the growing
community and the
requirement to get
commodities to market
effectively. BlackGOLD will
operate up to three purpose
built trading vessels
ideally suited for the
purpose of servicing the
communities’ needs, BlackGOLD’s operational
requirements and BlackGOLD’s exports.
All vessels are built with
the environment in mind
through the use of bio
diesel, solar energy, low
noise emission and the
lowest emission ratings
(Euro 4) possible on all
engines.
The Trading arm is a portal
based operation with
satellite stations
throughout the Solomon
Island’s to provide
consumables to the local
farmers from BG Import &
Distribution and a station to
trade their range of
produce for distribution and
or direct export.
